Recycling of thermo-plastics have been one of the main working fields from the beginning of HS Kunststoffen in 1993. To make a high quality usable regrind or palletised raw material looks easy, but proves to be a real profession, and a serious matter. As you can see in our logo, we see it as a concern of all of us on the globe.

Our knowledge therefore should be used all over the world, with vision for the future to come. We managed to develop all kind of plastics, it is our task to recycle them in to good usable, durable products, which can serve many opportunities.


Therefore HS Kunststoffen does not concentrate on West Europe alone, we are involved in projects around the Globe. Sometimes just with advice, sometimes with involvement in new recycling projects or factories that need to be developed.

If needed we also participate.


In the companies that HS Kunststoffen at present participate in, the following production processes are used.


1) Shredding, this proces breaks down big thick pieces or high volume pieces into workable pieces of 30 to 80 mm.

2) Grinding, this proces downsizes the shredded material into 8 to 12 mm particles.


3) Agglomerating, this proces melts filmic materials into solid pieces by frictional heat and water cooling.

4) Extrusion, in this proces the plastics are melted and pressed through a screen to filter out dirt or foreign particles.

For each material we like to find the proper solution, but it all starts with the producer of the waste. The best results are achieved with the companies that are serious in their waste management. If production waste is kept seperate, the kg price will be the highest, and the possebilities for recycling the best.


For that reason we like to be involved in the collecting proces, and like to advice the

best used packaging for the materials concerned.


Sometimes the materials are more difficult because of disturbing factors like metals, laminated or 2 or 3-K moulded products, labels or others. With a good inventory of the products, we always find the correct solution for your waste plastics.
